Melanie has experience assisting in the management of a broad range of governance issues faced by local governments. She was involved in policy development and prepared agenda items for council meetings.

“I enjoy helping people form a clearer understanding of their role and govern in a more methodical and thoughtful manner. Having a positive impact on the day to day functions of a local government results in positive impacts in the surrounding community. I find it quite satisfying to be involved in that process.”

Melanie is a law clerk and valuable member of the Governance Team at Civic Legal. Melanie is the project manager for Civic Legal’s unique governance services. These include regulation 17 systems and procedures reviews and Project Aware.
