We have a rare opportunity for a legal assistant to join our Local Government/Commercial Team.
The team is led by Anthony Quahe, one of the leading practitioners in the commercial and local government sectors in Western Australia.
We advise clients on a broad range of matters, including administrative law and governance, contracts and agreements, workplace law, dispute resolution, property and planning, leasing, construction and strata.
This role would suit either an experienced legal secretary/assistant, or a law student in WA.
This position is for 3 or 4 days per week, and can accommodate study and exam periods and Summer or Winter clerkships.
It is an excellent opportunity for a law student to work in a team of highly experienced lawyers in a legal administrative support role.

A successful legal assistant needs to have exceptional attention to detail, particularly when proofreading, formatting, and finalising letters or other client correspondence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential, as the role often involves liaising with both clients and internal stakeholders.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure is also key, as legal environments are fast-paced and deadline-driven.
