Emma is a property lawyer with more than 17 years’ experience in private practice in commercial law, including property sales and leasing, corporate structuring, trust and syndications, developments and complex sale and purchase agreements.

Emma works with the Commercial/Local Government Team at Civic Legal.

Experience

Contracts

• Drafting and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts. Apart from the usual types of commercial agreements, Emma has also handled unusual ones such as aircraft sales, solar energy agreements and art restoration agreements

Property and planning

• Advising on a wide range of property matters, covering office buildings, shopping centres, hospitality premises, industrial sites and farming properties on private and Crown Land

• Advising on strata titled and other property developments

Leasing

• Advising on a wide range of commercial and community leasing matters, including assignments, surrenders and renewals.
