Shivani is a key member of the local government and commercial team. She was admitted to legal practice in 2011 and has a broad range of experience including commercial drafting, litigation, private client work and migration law.
For local government clients, Shivani assists with a wide range of projects requiring contractual documentation. Those include disposals of property for development purposes, issuing of new titles by LandGate and acquisition of property to satisfy unpaid rates. She acts on leasing arrangements between local governments and community organisations. That capability extends to the negotiation and drafting of complex leasing documentation required for multi-million dollar tourism infrastructure.
Shivani also assists local governments on assorted documentation needs such as deeds of covenant, easements, and establishment agreements under the Local Government Act.

For commercial clients, Shivani not only provides assistance in property and contractual documentation work but also a wide range of other legal documentation. Those extend to security documentation such as mortgages and guarantees, commercial contracts, estate and probate advice and documentation for private client needs and registration of trade marks.
