Paul is one of the most experienced professional town planners in Western Australia. Paul works as a consultant for Civic Legal when matters involving his field of expertise arise.

From 1974 until 1978, Paul worked in the Town Planning Department of the WA State Government. He entered the private sector in 1979 and has worked in town planning consultancies in WA over the past 37 years and up to the present day. Paul has provided town planning support and consultancy services for dozens of metropolitan, regional and rural local governments across Western Australia.

"I get great satisfaction in explaining to clients the intent and purpose of planning legislation and policy. However, too often the legal parametres shift without due regard to the original intent – which makes it harder to rationalise for clients."
