Since her admission in 2008, Lotta has gained extensive experience in insurance law and litigation. Her main area of expertise is the defence of compulsory motor vehicle third party insurance (CTP) claims, acting for a State Government insurer.
Lotta has analysed and advised on all aspects of a wide variety of litigated and non-litigated CTP claims. She specializes in the assessment of complex and large claims involving catastrophic injuries, fatal accidents and liability issues. She also advises on insurance policies, legislation and the development of claims management strategies. Her legal advice is clear and concise. With a professional and practical approach, Lotta strives to reach a highly satisfactory and timely resolution of each matter.
Lotta has appeared as Counsel at numerous hearings and conferences in the District Court and Supreme Court, gaining extensive civil procedure knowledge and negotiation skills. She is an experienced instructing solicitor briefing Counsel at trial.
Lotta's experience includes employment law and industrial relations law, in which Lotta has acted for individuals, employers and Unions. She has regularly appeared at the State Industrial Courts.
